Once you’ve progressed enough in the story, you’ll meet a Gem Fairy living in a cave. In order to play co-op multiplayer with a friend in this version of the game, you’ll need to play through the game a little bit. There is, however, co-op multiplayer on the PS4 and Switch versions, dubbed the Special Edition of Light of Hope. While it’s always possible that these features can be added in at a later date (Stardew Valley is currently doing exactly that), there’s been no announcement from Natsume regarding whether or not fans can expect this any time in the near future. In fact, even more disappointing, there’s no multiplayer option to pluck turnips and plant tomatoes with your friends whatsoever in this version of the game. Unfortunately, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope does not have co-op multiplayer on PC.
